PlusPanel is made by 2Lines Sistem, the company behind PlusHost.ro. We built it because we got tired of paying more every year for software we couldn't control.
2004
A hosting company first.
2Lines Sistem was founded in Bucharest in 2004. PlusHost.ro, our hosting company, came out of it, and it still runs on cPanel today.
The problem
Bills that rise.
Our own panel licences moved to per-account pricing, and cPanel's published prices went up at every price point we could source since 2019 (dated sources on the cPanel comparison).
We wanted the opposite: a price per server that stays put, servers with no management port to attack, and an operating system we would not have to patch by hand.
The decision
Build what we wanted to buy.
So we built it: a control plane in the EU, a minimal agent that only dials out, a signed operating system that updates atomically and rolls back in one command, every customer in their own box.
We are our own first customer. PlusHost.ro moves onto PlusPanel before we ask anyone else to.
What we commit to
In writing, not in adjectives.
Your data and our infrastructure stay in the EU, and we list every supplier on the privacy page. Prices are per server and the founding price is locked for life. Every feature carries its real status, and every LIVE badge has a drill behind it. Every claim about a competitor carries a source and a date.
